Visiting: How to Find Us

Essex County/Caldwell Airport (KCDW), located in Fairfield, New Jersey is ideally situated to serve residents of both Northern New Jersey and New York City. Just 22 miles west of the George Washington Bridge, it is the only airport with direct public transportation (provided by Lakeland Bus Lines) that can accommodate customers without a car or those who do not wish to drive.

Essex County/Caldwell provides a 4500+ foot Runway with an Instrument Approach and a 3700+ foot runway, tower service, and challenging Class Delta airspace environments.

By Car to Essex County/Caldwell Airport

From the George Washington Bridge Take Rte 80 West to Exit 52. At the end of Exit 52, make right turn onto Two Bridges Rd., which becomes Passaic Ave. Go 1.3 miles to Wright Way (the first right into the airport property).

Air Fleet is in the first building on the right.
From the Lincoln Tunnel Take Rte 3 West to Route 46 West. Exit at “Passaic Ave / Lincoln Park / The Caldwells”. Turn left onto Passaic Ave. Airport is 1 mile on the right.

From Staten Island Take the Goethals Bridge to NJ Tpke, Exit 15W. At the end of 15W, take Route 280 W to Exit 4A on to Eisenhower Pkwy. Turn left at the first light. Turn left at the next light onto Passaic Ave. Airport is 3 miles on the left.

Air Fleet is the first hangar on the right on the north entrance.


By Bus to Essex County Caldwell Airport

From Port Authority-NYC, take the Lakeland Bus #46 from Gate 405. Ask the driver to stop at Passaic Avenue, Fairfield. Walk across the highway to the Dunkin Donuts or the Exxon gas station on the left side of Passaic Ave. Call Air Fleet and we will pick you up.
