Air Fleet Training Systems offers numerous programs to assist you with flight-training costs. As a FAR Part 141 training school, and a Cessna Pilot Center, Air Fleet is authorized to accept financial aid from programs such as Sallie Mae Career Training Loans, Pilot Finance, and Wells Fargo.

These programs are similar to the student loans for college. As with any loan, the amount you may borrow and the interest rates that apply varies from applicant to applicant. Your credit report will help the loan counselors make their final decisions. If your credit less than perfect, this may dictate a slightly higher interest rate. For those who have a lower credit score, it may be necessary to have a cosigner.

When flight training, it’s best to keep a regular schedule of flights. To help you accomplish this, it’s generally better to have more of your required funds on hand. When you fly on a regular basis, you maintain more proficiency from lesson to lesson. This keeps review times down and enables you to move to the next scheduled segment of your training.

If Sallie Mae sounds familiar to you, you’re not alone. Sallie Mae has been loaning money to students for years. Through their Career Training Loan program, money is available for flight training. You don’t even need to be a professionally-minded student to gain these funds. In fact, most of our students borrow enough to get them through their first certificate. It’s up to you if you choose to increase the loan amount at a later date.

You may click on the Sallie Mae logo for access to their website, or call us and we can fax or mail an application to you.

Pilot Finance is a relative newcomer to the world of flying. The difference with Pilot Finance is that you start making payments right away, and you don’t need to worry about borrowing enough - we do all the work for you.

Wells Fargo also offers loans. Click on the logo to find out more.

Even if you don’t need financing, we accept all major credit cards as well as cash, check, and money orders.
