Our Instructors: Teachers and Mentors

Air Fleet instructors have an extensive aviation background and all exhibit strong interpersonal skills. Our instructors are teachers and mentors, helping you through the process of maturing into a well trained pilot. All our instructors are FAA Part 141 and receive recurrent training and are FAR Part 141 re-certified annually.

What makes a good instructor? A good instructor is not necessarily one who has the most flight time, nor is the oldest instructor the most experienced. When you look for an instructor, the most important thing is that he or she make you feel comfortable in the aircraft and that you trust them. At Air Fleet, our instructors are hand-picked out of hundreds of candidates and most come with a four-year degree in Aeronautical Science. They have experienced more than the average pilot and have flown all over the country. We are sure that one of our instructors will fit your needs and will give you the best quality instruction you can find anywhere in the greater NYC area.
