Air Fleet does not have any discounts for purchasing “block” time or putting money down on the account. We are strictly a pay-as-you-learn flight training school. We try to keep our prices as low as possible and are unable to offer further discounts.
For prospective students, figuring the cost of obtaining the Private Pilot’s License is difficult. So many things factor into the cost of the license that no specific cost is able to be quoted. Learning rates of students, weather, ATC delays, and how often students train are just some of the variables. Typical costs range from $6000 to $9000. A number of different financing options are available.
One thing is for sure — training using our FAR Part 141 course WILL lower your cost. FAR Part 141 students typically finish in 50-60 hours, whereas the national average for Part 61 students is 60-75 hours.
