Proficiency & Endorsements

Once you get your license, it is important to keep your skills sharp. Revisiting old knowledge, as well as receiving additional training when flying new types of aircraft, are an integral part of being pilot in command.

Instrument Proficiency Course

If your instrument currency has lapsed, we will work with you to regain the proficiency needed to safely operate in instrument conditions. Our Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) combines ground instruction, simulator training, and flight time to evaluate and strengthen your instrument skills.

The amount of training required to complete the IPC will vary based on the length of time since your currency expired and your current level of instrument proficiency. Our goal is not only to restore your currency but also to ensure you are fully prepared and confident when flying in instrument conditions.

Flight Review

A Flight Review is required by the FAA every two years to ensure pilots maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate an aircraft. Air Fleet provides a comprehensive Flight Review consisting of at least two hours of ground instruction followed by at least two hours of flight training to evaluate and reinforce a pilot’s proficiency.

For pilots who have not flown recently or require additional training to meet proficiency standards, we will provide personalized instruction to help restore the skills and confidence needed to safely act as pilot in command.

High Performance Endorsement

Air Fleet provides High Performance Endorsement training for pilots seeking to expand their flying privileges. Our Certified Flight Instructors provide both ground and flight instruction to familiarize pilots with the operation of high performance aircraft and ensure they meet the required proficiency standards. Training is tailored to each pilot’s experience level and continues until the required skills are demonstrated.

Complex Endorsement

Air Fleet offers Complex Aircraft Endorsement training to help pilots transition into more advanced aircraft. Our experienced Certified Flight Instructors provide the necessary ground and flight training to develop the knowledge and skills required to safely operate complex aircraft. Training is customized to each pilot’s experience and continues until proficiency is demonstrated.
